Rhona Blaker, a writer and educator who currently lives in Los Angeles, was born in Scotland and raised in Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina and California. She holds a BA in English from UCLA and an MFA in Critical Studies from the California Institute of the Arts. She previously served as the Literary Manager of the Los Angeles Public Theatre, and she has twice served as a fellow in the UCLA EPIC/Mellon program that is dedicated to providing inclusive classrooms for all students.
From 2018-2025 she was a frequent guest on the Uncommon Sense Democrat with Eric Bauman on KCAA/NBC. When she has time, she also likes to cook, paint, take photographs, read and travel.
